Grassland

 Grasslands are large area with rolling hills of grasses and wildflowers. Grasslands are found on every continent except Antarctica. Sometimes grasslands are called prairies, savannas, or steppes. The roots of the grasses and small plants make the soil rich and great for farming. Some of the grasslands are used for animal grazing, too.

The Grassland biome is located on every continent except Antarctica. Grassland biomes can be found in the middle lattitudes, in the interiors of continents.
