Savanna

 The Savanna Biome is the largest Biome in Southern Africa, occupying 46% of its area, and over one third (1/3) of the area of South America. It is characterized by a grassy ground layer and a distinct upper layer of woody plants. Where this upper layer is near the ground the vegetation may be reffered to as Shrubveld, where it is as dense as Woodland, and the intermediate stages are locally known as Brushveld.

Clothing

People dress casually during winter and summer. During the winter bring pants, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, and a jacket. During the summer bring shorts, t-shirts, capris, hats, swimwear, etc.

Location

A Savanna is a rolling grassland, scattered with shrubs and isolated trees, which can be found between a Tropical Rainforest and Desert biome. They are found in a wide band on either side of the equator on the egdes of Tropical Rainforests.
